Cult Vacui changes
Hi everyone, and welcome to a new Cult Vacui update! Things are moving along nicely and, if everything stays on track, I believe this will be the final update before the official release!
WHAT HAPPENED LAST MONTH?
Last month was entirely dedicated to polishing. I didn't expect to find so many small issues to fix, but the worst is now behind us!
About twenty people playtested the game and provided a wealth of feedback. I am incredibly grateful to everyone who dedicated their time to this project. We’ve squashed a significant number of bugs, and for the first time, I was able to share the game in its entirety.
The feedback has been very positive. While I won't be able to implement every single suggestion (after all, this isn't an Early Access title designed for continuous development) many of these insights will be invaluable should I ever decide to make a Cult Vacui 2. You never know...
TEXT POLISHING

She is currently proofreading and revising all the text. She is a true professional! Beyond just fixing grammar and typos, she’s helping me refine the narrative flow and add better context to the dialogue. I’d like to publicly thank Becca for her amazing work.
SOUNDTRACK
Ascari, the game’s composer, has completed the entire soundtrack, which is now fully implemented. The atmosphere is excellent, and I’m thrilled with the final result. It perfectly captures that sense of unease and dread I was hoping to convey.
WHAT AM I WORKING ON NOW?
For this final stretch, I’ll be focusing on:
Steam Achievements: I’m currently designing the icons and testing them with the Steam SDK. I can already tell you there will be 15 achievements to unlock.
Launch Trailer: I already have a vision for the launch trailer; I just need to get to work on the editing!
- Localization TestingAt the moment, the game is available in two languages: Italian and English . However, translators are currently working on Spanish and German versions. Once those are ready, I’ll need to ensure they integrate perfectly with the game's UI.
