Update v0.8.109 is now live, with a whole bunch of balance changes thanks to all the incredible feedback that has been given here, on Itch and via the in-game options - literally everything in this patch is in response to one or more comments so a huge thanks to everyone who has been in touch, it's really helping me shape the game into something that can be hopefully be enjoyed by anyone, pinball enthusiast or not. These changes are primarily focused on being more beginner friendly while keeping it challenging for those playing on higher difficulties. As always, please let me know what you think!
v0.8.107 Patch Notes:
All Blockers are now reset when starting a new ball
Blocker HP reduced to 10 hits (was 15)
On Expert difficulties and above, this is reduced further to only 6 hits
Menu navigation can now be done using arrow keys or left/right ctrl, with spacebar or enter to confirm
Added Slow-motion effect on exiting the Shop, giving a bit more time to get your bearings.
New Blessing: Bubble Blockers: Blockers gain a protective bubble, that respawns 15s after being hit
Increased Boss tentacle respawn timer on lower levels.
Each time a Boss tentacle is hit, it's respawn timer will increase.
Blessings rebalanced to be more impactful (-4 ritual mission count instead of -2 for each type)
Curses rebalanced to be more impactful
Reduced damage from Chain Lightning effect
Bumper HP increased at higher levels (eg Act VI is now 1,000,000 on Easy difficulty, it was 250,000)
When skipping the tutorial, all other popups will now be skipped
Some minor Glyph rebalancing
Minor bug fixes
