changedThe game now supports full Steam Workshop integration. You can share blueprints of your own structures and ships, and download other players’ creations.
addedIn the blueprint info window, there’s a new “Share” button, and any blueprints you subscribe to are marked with a special icon in your collection. As for ships, the shipyard interface now features a “Workshop” button—use it to upload your own designs or grab models made by other players.
addedA character appearance customization bench has been added. It can be crafted, and it will allow you to change any aspect of the character when interacting with it.
addedA search functionality has been added to the galaxy map to allow searching star systems by name.
addedcompleting the game will reward the player with a brand-new ship and speeder. They will get awarded to players who have already completed the main quest too upon loading the game.
removedThe PC version has received a simple in-game chat. Pressing Enter activated the chat UI. A profanity filter toggle can be disabled in the gameplay options.

Other changes:

  • A character appearance customization bench has been added. It can be crafted, and it will allow you to change any aspect of the character when interacting with it.

  • The signs now support Unicode characters both from keyboard and clipboard paste.

  • The PC version has received a simple in-game chat. Pressing Enter activated the chat UI. A profanity filter toggle can be disabled in the gameplay options.

  • Banks are now available on planets which are not overrun with pirates. Here you can deposit your currency, so the respawn cost is only applied on what you are currently holding on yourself.

  • Inventory sorting will now also auto-stack possible items and compact everything nicely.

  • A bunch of new hair and beard styles have been added for the character customization.

  • An option to disable the rendering of your helmet has been added to gameplay options.
