Cube Kingdoms changes
I want to thank you once again for all the helpful feedback I received over the past week! I’m really happy to see the game improving with every update. 🙂
🛠️ Improvements
When placing buildings, everything now aligns to a 0.1×0.1 grid, making it much easier to arrange your buildings neatly without snapping. Existing save files do not change the positions of their buildings.
Placing units on walls has been improved.
- NoteAll castle buildings have been made smaller to fit the new grid. This means that in existing save files, gaps between walls may appear !
16:10, 21:9 and 32:9 resolutions are now supported. UI scaling issues may occur — if anyone experiences this, please report it.
The resources‑per‑minute display now includes worker travel paths. (Still not 100% accurate.) Making it fully precise would require constant recalculation, which would be annoying because the value would update slowly after constructing a building.
If a building does not have enough resources to produce, its current production is set to 0.
Placement animations have been slightly extended.
The number of available units is now displayed on the button, not at the top of the building menu.
The UI visuals have been updated. This is WIP and will be improved further in upcoming patches.
Positive resource production now shows a “+” in front of the value.
🐞 Bugfixes
The first building placed no longer moves when holding down the mouse button.
Villagers’ last tasks were not loaded correctly, which could cause all workers to deliver resources or play their work animation at the storage when loading a save.
Camera movement speed was affected by game speed.
The consumption per minute of water, food, beer, and coal was calculated incorrectly.
Kind regards, Maikel – GamingPugsStudios
