Hello Pilots! 👋
after a longer development phase, a new major update for Cube Crawler is finally here.
Over the last weeks and months, many core systems have been reworked and expanded to push the game further both technically and gameplay-wise.
New Dungeon Gameplay Loop
The flow of each run has been heavily expanded and pushed further towards a Rogue-Lite experience.
Players now explore the cube more strategically, collect important fragments and slowly progress deeper into the dungeon.
Long-term, this path will lead directly to the new elevator system, preparing access to the heart of the cube.
Expanded Reward & Progression Systems
The reward system has also been expanded:
Collect Cube Coins during runs
Unlock permanent resources
More progression between runs
More motivation for exploration and risk-taking
The overall gameplay loop is designed to make runs more rewarding, strategic and replayable.
New Ship Building System
Players can now create their own combinations of body, weapon and engine parts.
This allows:
more unique builds
different playstyles
deeper long-term build variety
Additional Improvements
Improved effects and atmosphere
New gameplay and combat systems
Expanded audio systems
Many technical optimizations
Improvements to UI and controller support
Cube Crawler is still in active development and this update is an important step toward future content and the planned endgame systems.
