Major Demo Update Coming Tomorrow
A major new update for the Cryptoria demo is arriving tomorrow.
This is the biggest demo improvement pass so far, focused on making the dungeon feel much more polished, responsive, atmospheric, and satisfying from start to finish.
Over the last stretch, a lot has been improved across combat, enemies, dungeon flow, loot, UI feedback, boss presentation, and overall feel.
What’s new in this update:
Much stronger overall combat feel
Improved enemy feedback and more satisfying hits
New attack sounds for enemies
New enemy hit and death sounds
New sounds for barrels, traps, chests, buff pickups, and the boss fight
Dungeon background music added for a much stronger atmosphere
Better trap presence and room tension
Improved chest interactions and loot presentation
More satisfying reward moments when opening chests
Better buff/skill pickup feedback
Improved slime and skeleton combat feel
More polished boss fight presentation and final boss death impact
Better room-to-room dungeon atmosphere
Stronger overall pacing during runs
More game feel and polish throughout the entire demo

Better loading / transition feel between rooms
More responsive combat moments during encounters
Cleaner feedback during hits, rewards, and pickups
Improved enemy variety and attack readability
