Welcome to Devlog #1!
Cryptoria officially begins with our very first Steam update. In this post, we’re giving you a small glimpse into the core direction of the game, the gameplay feel, and the first systems that are currently being built.
🔶 What is Cryptoria?
Cryptoria is a 2D pixel-art action-adventure focused on dungeons, loot, and a dynamic combat system. The visual style blends retro aesthetics with modern effects and a dark, mystical atmosphere.

• Core Pixel Art & Style
The world, UI, and animations follow a clear, vibrant pixel-art look.
• Enemy Design (Slimes example)
The first enemies are already implemented, including idle, walk, jump, hit, and death animations.
• Dungeon Foundation
Generation, rooms, transitions, and the basic level mechanics are currently in development.
🔶 What’s coming next?
Armor upgrade system
New weapons
More enemies
UI overhaul for inventory & stats
🔶 Support Cryptoria
