One Week After the Demo Release

The game demo has now been available for one week, and I want to sincerely thank the more than 150 players who took the time to try the game and share their feedback.

Update : Game Options & Quality of Life

One of the main issues reported during the first days was the in-game options system. This has now been significantly improved, and most standard settings expected in modern PC games are available.

Additional improvements are still planned, including:

  • Full controller support

  • An optional top-down camera mode

And some litle fix on the character creation tooltip have been made.

What Players Enjoyed

The overall gameplay direction and the core mechanics have been well received. The foundation of the game feels solid, which is reassuring at this stage of development.

The Biggest Weakness Right Now

The feedback was also very clear on another point: the game still lacks a strong identity.

This mainly concerns:

  • Environment visuals

  • Enemy variety and design

  • Class uniqueness and gameplay differentiation

At the moment, some aspects still feel too generic or too close to other games in the genre.

Improving this is now one of the main priorities moving forward.

Future Direction

The goal is not only to improve the visuals and make each area feel more distinct, but also to push the gameplay further away from other survivor-like games.

The cold and pressure systems already create interesting gameplay situations, but I want these mechanics to become something players can strategically exploit and build around, rather than simply feeling like penalties.

So expect major changes and improvements in that direction over the coming updates.
