Crusaders Quest : Mini changes
Hello Captains, this is CQ LABS.
We would like to express our gratitude for the interest you have shown in Crusaders Quest(Hereinafter referred to as 'CQ') and the recently launched CQ MINI. It has already been one week since the launch of CQ MINI, and we would like to share the future plans for CQ MINI as well as the current status and direction of CQ LABS.
What is CQ LABS?
CQ LABS is a small experimental development team making new attempts to expand beyond mobile to PC and Console platforms based on the CQ IP. Our most important value is creating games that can serve as a small token of appreciation for users who have loved CQ for a long time, and through this, we are working to allow people to experience the world of CQ in new ways.
This project is not simply a spin-off, but also a process of laying the foundation for developing CQ's next-generation titles. CQ LABS aims to move toward greater development based on these experiences.
Future Update Plans for CQ MINI
Introduction of Duplicate Hero Consuming Contents
We plan to add new content that allows more meaningful use of duplicate heroes that occur
during the collection process.
Addition of BGM Player Feature
We plan to provide a dedicated player tab where you can freely enjoy BGM in the game by making all CQ BGM, including the newly added BGM, collectable.
Sequential Implementation of Hero Basic Block Skills
We plan to gradually update the unique basic block skills that each hero has, presenting visually more enjoyable battles through more diverse performances utilizing each hero's skills.
Various Hero Interactions
In addition to the currently applied motions, we plan to apply various interactions of existing
heroes.
Q&A
Q. What was the development intention behind CQ MINI?
A. We wanted to create a small CQ widget-style game where heroes that could only be encountered
on mobile can now move and be collected on PC as well.
Q. Is there a reason why all heroes only perform basic attacks without skills?
A. The existing CQ resources were created in a format that is no longer supported, so it takes
considerable time to recreate the existing skill performances. Accordingly, we are discussing a
direction to newly create skill expressions through updates and apply them sequentially.
Q. When is the next update scheduled?
A. A new project is scheduled for development in December, so CQ MINI updates will follow after that.
We will inform you once the schedule is confirmed.
Q. How is user feedback reflected?
A. We are consistently checking the feedback you provide in the community, and we are continuously
discussing internally to reflect as much as possible starting with what is feasible.
Q. Some heroes seem to be missing - is there a reason?
A. In the case of heroes created in special ways rather than the existing structure, we were
unavoidably unable to add them.
