We are deploying Hotfix 1.0.5 today! This update brings another wave of crucial improvements to Rodovia, focusing on scenario bugs, heros AI, save system stability for scenario events, and some Quality of Life additions.
Here is the full list of changes:
Hotfix 1.0.5 Notes
System changes
Building Placement Refactor: Completely refactored the building placement and collision detection systems.
Restricted Areas: You can no longer place buildings in unauthorized or inaccessible areas, such as directly on water (rivers, lakes), mountains, or dense forests.
- Better shopping AI at blacksmithHeroes will now make smarter purchasing decisions at the Blacksmith, evaluating their class, traits and current gear to prioritize the best available upgrades rather than spending gold randomly.
General fixes
- Difficulty level change after loadFixed an issue where the game would load incorrect difficulty levels for in-progress scenarios.
- Equipment PurchasingFixed a community-reported issue where heroes would not buy Tier 2 (and higher) equipment from the Blacksmith despite having enough gold.
- Arena BugFixed an issue where the destruction or loss of an Arena building with the 'Recruit Training 1' upgrade would permanently break the recruitment level of all future heroes.
- Twin Scenario Events FixImproved the loading logic for "twin events" (events with similar or overlapping triggers). This resolves conflicts in recognizing event states when some parts were already completed prior to saving.
- In-Game MenuAdjusted the scroll speed in the In-Game Menu for a smoother navigation experience.
- Inn InteractionsFixed an issue where heroes were not buying food at the Inn.
- City AIAdded randomization to Hero AI behavior within the city for more natural outcome.
- Resurrection FixResolved an issue that prevented heroes from being resurrected after performing a Save/Load.
- Collision FixesFixed hero collision with various map objects that could cause them to get stuck while traveling.
Scenario-Specific Fixes
New Frontier
Fixed a community-reported issue causing an extreme and unintended enemy swarm around day 30.
Sins of the Ancestors
Fixed a bug where the lake would not visually freeze over.
Resolved an internal error and an infinitely looping Advisor dialogue that occurred after obtaining the White Wolf's heart.
The Creaking Hut
Fixed an issue where the"Escape from the Cauldron"side quest failed to trigger correctly.
Resolved bugs related to the activation and progression of the"Wellsprings of Corruption"(Yaga's health regeneration and habitats) side quest.
Fixed a bug where the dialogue about damaging Baba Yaga's hut would incorrectly play at the very beginning of the scenario.
Cult of Shadows
- MausoleumFixed a bug related to faction changing for the Mausoleum which might cause the Mausoleum to not function properly.
Crown of Greed
- Ending PolishImproved the campaign ending sequence by shortening the transition time and adding the correct, previously missing audio.
- Credits FreezeFixed an issue where the game would freeze on the credits screen after successfully completing the final mission.
Important Note
As we continue our work to improve save and load stability during playing active scenarios, for now we highly recommend restarting your current scenarios from the beginning after updating to a new game version.
