Crony Corp changes
We apologize for the lack of updates these last couple of months. We have been dealing with a few personal matters that have pushed our development cycle back considerably. However, we do come bearing some good news, and a massive update for Crony Corp. After receiving feedback from the community, we have decided to do away with the need to research Recipes, as well as removing the Premium Currency cost for all the Recipes. Instead, you will now choose which Recipe you would like to assign to the Factory prior to it being built. The cost of that Recipe will automatically be wrapped up into the overall cost of the Factory. For those of you who have already spent Premium Currency to research a Recipe, that Premium Currency will be refunded to you during the upcoming server reset. (see below) We’d also like to take this opportunity to announce that Crony Corp will be coming to Android sometime next month (January), with an iOS launch following a month or so later. The Steam version will have cross-progression with the mobile platforms, so you can take Crony Corp with you on the go! When the Android version launches, we will be doing a server reset to create a more level playing field for all players. Your account and login information will all stay the same, however your progress and the leaderboards will be reset. Any Premium Currency that was purchased (spent or not) will be returned to your account for use after the reset. We’d like to extend our thanks to all of you. Recipe/Research Changes
Recipes no longer need to be researched
Recipes no longer cost Premium Currency
Recipes are chosen prior to building a Factory, and will automatically be assigned on Factory construction
Recipes must be paid for every time they are assigned
Changing a Recipe on a Factory will incur the full cost of the recipe, and will take 1 hour to complete
Updated Tutorial to reflect changes in Recipes
Added Recipe Staging UI
Added ability to skip Recipe Staging Time using Premium Currency
Fixed Bug where Factory Inventory was not transferring to Warehouse on Recipe Change
Road Building Changes
Added a Road Building section to the Tutorial
Added an Auto-Build mode in the Road Building Menu
PVP Changes
Added a PVP section to the Tutorial
Added Ability to Skip PVP Timer using Premium Currency
Fixed Bug where Items wouldn't be subtracted from a PVP Attack until after you leave the PVP screen
Truck Changes
Trucks are no longer visually represented as Trucks during Gameplay. They are now shown as Circular Icons.
Trucks are now much more likely to adhere to built roads
Disabled Truck HUD Alerts for Full Warehouse/Factory
Daily Rewards
Added a new pop-up panel for Daily Rewards
Daily Rewards now give Premium every 7th day instead of 10th day
Fixed Bug where if any of the Warehouse Inventories were full, Daily Rewards would be unable to be claimed
Misc. Changes
Dramatically reduced game size and load times
Adjusted how Premium Currency Cost for Timer Skips was calculated. Now maxes at 50 tokens ($5)
Reduced New Player Build Time to 30 seconds
Import Button now defaults to Auto-Buy
Adjusted Power Pole and Road images in Build Menu
Suggested Categories now suggests Roads
Misc. Bug Fixes
Fixed Bug where Factory Pads would not appear in Build Mode
Fixed Bug where Move Building would glitch out, allowing you to click where the building was prior to moving it
Fixed Bug where Creating a User using an existing Username would softlock the game
Fixed Bug where Tutorial Arrows were not adjusting to new aspect ratios properly
Fixed Bug where Tutorial Progress was not saving properly
Fixed Bug where Tutorial Arrows were not disappearing properly
Fixed Bug where Factory Prefabs would be culled improperly during Resync
Fixed Bug where Construction Time was not being transmitted via Resync, which broke Maintenance times
Fixed Bug where Buildings with Construction Speed Boost would have extremely short Maintenance times
Fixed Bug where an expired refresh token could soft lock the game
Fixed Bug where Suggested Categories wasn't showing Raw Materials properly
Fixed Bug where you could spam the Declare Bankruptcy Button
Fixed Bug where the Auto Trader portion of the Tutorial would not properly complete after Bankruptcy
Fixed Bug where the player could accidentally select a null vertical path during the tutorial
Fixed Bug where Refresh Upgrades was running even when Upgrade screen was not visible
Fixed Bug where E-Certs weren't properly displaying in Warehouse Inventory
Fixed a few Task bugs with Buying/Selling Items
