changedIn my ever-quest to improve CRISIS Command to the best it can be, I have updated the following features to squash some annoying bugs or correct issues:
changedadjusted the second checkpoint of the airport's location. Now you won't see my background changes, or my unsightly bathtub ring... - Adjusted the text display for the Weapon Select prompts at the top of the pause menu. The should finally stay in their cage! - Astra's wall jumping transitions are now smoother. Let that girl fly! - Added a slight grip to when wall sliding is activated with Astra before gravity kicks in. This should make getting those wall jumps more accurate now. - Increased the speed of the fire bolt and fire thrower weapons. Anthracite should be a more threatening boss now. Don't say I didn't warn you. - Updated the frequency of how much dust is kicked into the air when wall grinding and dashing. That much dust can't be good for the lungs. - Updated the fall protection tooltip in the pause menu. It should better describe how the protection works on pits and spikes for less confusion. - Increased the aggression range of the Spidertank mini-boss slightly. No more hiding in that one pixel out in the open and playing peek-a-boo anymore. - Added a tooltip button prompt that pops up when hovering over the Parry and Plasma Torch icons in the pause menu. It should dynamically show you what button/key you have configured for that action now. - Reduced the lifespan of debris when flying through the air. Debris should try to reach orbit when launched. - Adjusted the fire missile speed. This should make Thrash a little more dangerous. - Speaking of Thrash, corrected the bug where sometimes he'd just constantly barrel-roll instead of land. A hilarious issue, but sadly I am running out of Pepto to give the poor guy - Added a Civilian rescue count to the pause menu. Now you will have an idea on how many people are thankful for your efforts! - Corrected Hakon's skipping when he is running around. A battlefield is not the time for lolly-gagging, Hakon! - Corrected rotating turret's aim logic so it will fire at all angles when facing right. Sorry phantoms, but that blindspot has now been filled.

Known issues I'm still looking into:

  • Every once in a blue moon, Astra gets her face stuck in invisible barriers or tiny ledges. Her dentist wishes I'd hurry, as the insurance rate is going up because of it.

Please continue to let me know when you discover defects, pain points and weird behaviors while playing CRISIS Command. I'm happy to continue to improve the product.

Enjoy until next time!
