Repeated intro

Hello there phantoms! In my ever continuing quest to improve the quality of my software, I have deployed an update that will help ease your burdens a little. The following will be available shortly for you to download:

What changed

1 fix1 addition0 changes0 removals
  • UI and audio
fixedFixed an issue where the new sound cleanup was looking for the wrong sound in a few instances. Save the ghost hunting for the professionals - Corrected the keybind parser so it will show the correct keybinds for keyboards in the options. This should make it much easier for you to know what is actually your preferred keys, assuming gremlins don't get into the wires. - Updated the button prompt billboards in the tutorial to have them all animate properly. That should help players figure out how to get through the Tower Topplier's ambush easier! - Updated on of the tutorial billboards to show both D-pad and Analog prompts for those players that love options! - Adjusted the cursor offset to make it slightly easier to see where it is next to some of the buttons. At least now I have to blame my poor vision on me instead of the font. - Added a slight grace period after leaving the ground to allow the player to still jump. It should make it easier to get those pixel perfect jumps in later levels now. I'm still up for feedback on this one. - Made the sawball minions messier when they dig through the Earth to get you. The extra particles should make it a little easier to not stub your toes on them. - Added a button prompt to the Weapon Acquired screen to know when you can leave. Otherwise it gets awkward... - Updated the pause menu's button prompts to be a little easier to read, and added two new ones when the Plasma Torch and Parry features are available. Should make it easier to know what buttons to press wtihout going to the Options menu. Nobody has time for that!
addedKnown issues I'm still looking into: - Wall sliding to a wall jump has been reported as slippery for some players. The new grace period should help with that, but more maybe needed. I appreciate any feedback on this as I continue working on it. - Some players have reported that dashing sometimes fails to register. Any information as to button combinations hit when this happens or what is going on in the level is greatly appreciated! - Every once in a blue moon, Astra gets her face stuck in invisible barriers or tiny ledges. Her dentist wishes I'd hurry, but it's taking time to identify the specifics.

Please continue to let me know when you discover defects, pain points and weird behaviors while playing CRISIS Command. I'm happy to continue to improve the product.

Enjoy until next time!
