Since we’re making this game in an open and public kind of way and planning on doing Early Access soon, things are still in flux. If you want to give feedback, it will be appreciated!

Here’s a list of the changes we’ve in moving from the final playtest version to the demo:

Demo Version 0.04

  • new graphics for a handful of enemies.

  • a bunch of new sounds for attacks and other things added.

  • new end of level gem you destroy to exit levels, with new animation and graphics.

  • NEW global tallies to keep track of Run time, Deaths, Won Runs, and Destroyed Robots.

  • “Delete Save Data” option in gameplay settings menu.

  • new worm trap in World 3.

  • behind-the-scenes numbers changed to make World 2 & 3 easier (they're in an unfinished state still)

  • holding "attack" with an auto-fire attack no longer cancels a slide.

  • added input buffer for pausing.

  • you now stay in a slide if you’re in the air and there’s a tile above you, instead of getting damaged from your head hitting the tile.

  • health and energy scraps don’t spread as far horizontally when they come out of chests.

  • when knocked out, you turn back into a ball when you're in the air.

  • attacks come out of your arm instead of your face, with a new "sploosh" effect when you attack.

  • updated menu background pattern graphics

  • new tiles in “The Mainframe” added.

  • effect when you collect batteries and breaks.

  • new water graphic.

  • new music tracks (WIP unfinished tracks) added in World 2.
