šŸš— AI Cars in Endless Mode

Endless mode finally feels… well, alive. AI cars will now spawn randomly on the road and drive alongside you. They’re not just background traffic - they can overtake, crash into each other, and generally make the road way more unpredictable. They’re not amazing at passing, so you’ll need to stay sharp if you don’t want them to ruin your perfect run!

⚔ Speed Multiplier

Driving fast is now more than just risky - it’s rewarding.

  • Once you break 100 km/h, a multiplier kicks in.

  • Every time you pass a new 10 km/h milestone (e.g. 109 → 110), you gain a +0.1x bonus.

  • Every 5 seconds you maintain over 100 km/h, you gain another +0.1x.

  • And if you pull off a close pass over 100 km/h? That’s a juicy +0.5x bonus.

The multiplier can go as high as your nerves (and skills) can take it. But the moment you drop below 100 km/h, it resets back to 1x. Speed has never been this fun - or this risky.

šŸŽÆ Sessions, Goals & Losing (Finally!)

Previously, you just drove until you got bored and quit. Now, each run is a session with its own score. When you lose, that score gets added to your total.

And yes… you can actually lose now.

  • Run out of fuel? Game over.

  • Take too much damage? Game over.

This gives every drive a purpose and makes leaderboard competition possible so the player can compete with eachother if that is your cup of tea!

⛽ Gas Stations

Since there’s now fuel, it only made sense to add gas stations. They spawn rarely and if you find one, you can spend some of your current session score to refuel.

This adds a whole new risk-reward element: if your car didn't take much damage but you're missing out gas, you can refill it to try to gain more score but lose some of your points.

šŸ”§ Car Upgrades

On top of all that, the garage now lets you upgrade your car! You can improve it in four different categories - speed, handling, brakes, and engine - to make your runs smoother, faster, and more competitive.

That’s the big stuff for 0.2.1, and honestly, it feels like a huge leap forward for Crazy Roads. I’m already working on what’s next, but for now, I’d love to hear your feedback - especially on the AI cars and multiplier system.

Thanks so much for following along and supporting the game. It means the world. ā¤ļø
