Crashbound changes
Hello everyone!
We're very excited to share what we have been working on in our first ever devlog! We've been working with all things related to hunger for this milestone.
Hunger
We've added famines to the world of Crashbound! Yaaay!!!
You'll now need to ensure you have an adequate supply of food to keep your population fed. The larger your settlement and the more work you have them doing will have a direct impact on the daily demand for food.
Fail to keep up with this demand and your villagers will take a serious hit to their productivity!
Ranged combat
We've finally got around to implenting a system for ranged combat into the game. Now you or your villagers and wield a bow and take out your targets from a safe distance!
What does a bow have to do with hunger you ask? Well it is the weapon of choise for...
The Hunter!
A new job is available to villagers through the hunter workstation. These guys will be on the lookout for any critters they can take out with their bow. If they land a clean shot, they'll be brining home the bacon!
More additions!
Critters like boars and rabbits roam the world and act as the best source of food!
Berry bushes are also spread about and can supply extra food, your villagers will passively collect these should they come across one!
What's next
Next up we're planning on diving into a system to populate the world with enemy camps and introducing another job for your villagers!
