This update is friendly. Not friendly enough to dub it "welcoming" - but hey, it's less hostile than the others!
As Steam's Endless Replayability Fest kicks off, let's get into what's new!
ːsteamthumbsupː Improved Game Start UI and Hints
If you've been sticking around for a while - well, you probably don't need all that. But new players still do! Your suffering haven't been in vain, because it would be easier for people to get into the game and actually understand what's happening.
Well, at least I hope so! Do you agree? Tell me what you think!
Tech & Oprimization
The game has been upgraded to the new tech! It now runs Unreal Engine 5.4 under the hood - instead of the old 5.2. The game looks better than ever and runs much smoother than it used to. I hope this makes the experience more enjoyable for you!
Updated Music
The amazing @Phyrnna has created an incredibly catchy track, which can now be heard while fighting especially menacing foes like Captain Slimebeard. Fighting a slimy crab pirate who slings barrels of rum around have never been so epic! In the meantime, check out Phyrnna's other work. You'll agree with me she's great.
Improvements marked with ːsteamthumbsupː were based on the feedback I got from all of you so far. Keep it coming!
