I can't wait to get the Ker'Plau into the game for you all. They feel very different. I'm hoping to have that patch ready by late next week. If you've been enjoying my little twist on tower defense, please leave a positive review, it helps a lot!

Patch 0.60: Razing The Bar

Features

  • On difficulty 2+ new enemy types can show up for the primary faction after wave 7. The chance for these more dangerous enemies increases ever so slightly at every difficulty level.

  • Added difficulty level 4: Long range attacks target and destroy your weapons periodically.

  • Added 3 new achievements for beating the higher difficulties currently available. You'll need to beat the difficulties again if you already have because balance has changed significantly. - Razer II: Beat Difficulty 2 - Razer III: Beat Difficulty 3 - Razer IV: Beat Difficulty 4

QoL

  • Added tooltip text that indicates what breakthrough has been applied to a weapon

  • Mouse: The continue button highlights and makes a sound on selection at the end of a wave/game

  • Mouse: Fixed a major oversight that prevented the weapon upgrade tooltip from showing up in shop when navigating with the mouse instead of a gamepad. Sorry to everyone that couldn't see some very vital information!

Balance

  • WeaponHot Spring now places a mine at a random unoccupied position, a minimum of 4 grid spaces away. It now places its first mine instantly upon being created. Damage decreased to 40 from 45 at level 2. It now starts with 40 health, down from 60. *Notes: Fixed a bug that was preventing it from applying burn. So while many of its stats have been nerfed, its ability to actually apply burn, coupled with placing its first mine instantly should balance that out.*
  • Plasmic burn is now chance based to apply. Various weapons and augments have been updated with their own chance values.

  • Weapon: Fire Holes now deals no immediate damage (previously 10), but has 100% plasmic chance. Now counts as a defense unit and not an assault.

  • Augment: Fire Wall now has a 40% chance to apply plasmic burn.

  • Augment: Hot Potato now has a 20% chance to apply burn

  • Weapon: Slow Cooker now has a 40% chance to apply plasmic burn at level 1, and gains +20% chance at level 2.

  • Weapon: Sparkholder now has a 50% chance to apply plasmic burn at level 1, and gains +50% chance at level 2.

  • Enemy: The Smorg Elite (Caterpillar) segments are now always destroyed on each weapon impact, 1 at a time.

  • Enemy: Smorg Orb Weavers (spinning orbs around them) have +20 health

  • Enemy: Smorg Spawners (create stationary targets in random spaces) have +20 health

  • Power: Panic Shield has a 24 second cooldown down from 25

Bugs

  • Fixed a bug preventing Hot Spring from applying plasmic burn

  • When you're at the current maximum level for unlocks, your exp will now remain at max and you will not continue to level up

  • Fixed a bug with the 2nd level of the Defense Synergy that caused the bombs created to be placed in random locations

  • Mouse OnlyFixed issues where you'd need to mouse off the current breakthrough and then mouse over again to select it when the menu first popped up
  • Mouse OnlyFixed issues where you'd need to mouse off the current weapon and then mouse over again to select it after choosing a breakthrough or augment
