changedDriving and Gameplay 🏎️Improved Car Handling: We've refined the car mechanics for better handling and collision response. This means your car will feel more predictable and stable, especially after hitting a wall or hitting a ramp and landing on its nose.

Performance and Stability ⚙️

  • Smoother Performance

    We've made significant optimizations to reduce stutters and improve overall performance.

    This includes

    • Implementing a new object pooling system for things like runtime streaming and particle effects, which helps make the game run smoother and use less memory.

    • Tweaks to the AI and dynamic leaderboard tracking to give you better framerates and a more stable game.

  • Faster LoadingWe've enabled background loading for audio to improve game performance when loading into a scene. 🎧

UI and Visuals 🎨

  • Interface and ReadabilityThe in-game information panel now scales better on different screens. We also fixed anchor positions for UI elements to improve visibility.
  • Camera AdjustmentsWe've increased the camera's far clip plane to help you see distant objects more clearly. The field of view has also been adjusted for a better perspective. Additionally, camera shake values have been improved for interactions with walls and other obstacles.
  • Updated Car Selection: The car selection in garage now displays the car's name and has better visual feedback.

  • Smoother Multiplayer Experience: We've ironed out a bug that made other players' cars look a bit wonky. Now, their wheels will always be in the right place, not floating or stuck in the ground, for a much cleaner visual experience.

  • Bug FixesWe've fixed a number of UI navigation issues, particularly for controller support. We also addressed layout inconsistencies in the FTUE (First-Time User Experience) scene. 👾
