As promised in our last hotfix, we've been carefully listening to your feedback regarding the overall pacing of the game. Many of you felt the combat and ship movements were moving too fast, and we agree. Here is a balancing pass to address this.
Ship Movement
Speed acceleration and deceleration reduced by 25%
Rotation acceleration and deceleration reduced by 25%
Max speed reduced by 15%
Min speed reduced by 10%
Ship Combat
Ship HP increased by 10%
Cannons now fire in bursts instead of continuous shots
All Cannons balls speed decreased
Faction ships
Buff faction specific ships
Boarding
Added a delay between the canon shoot and the cannonball landing
Cannons longer initial cooldown
Tier 3 ships now deploy 10% more units
Crew members pathfinding tweak
Crew members HP and damage rebalance
Crew members movement speed decreased by 10%
Fortress
Fortress HP increased by 10%
Fixed incorrect fortress crew member count
Cannon balls speed decreased
Wind
Ship slower when facing the wind straight on
Spies
Spy initial cost increased
Spy cost per faction increased
Spy incremental cost increased
Spy duration decreased
Resources production
All tiers of Governor's palace produce resources at a slower rate
Tier 1 Governor's palace can't produce Jewels anymore
Fixes
Dutch Act 3 Mission 6 : Defend Port Royal from the Spanish
Fix a defending English ship with the wrong setup
Men-at-arms' axe jitter, when Men-at-arms fall from a plank
Key rebinding not working
Quality of Life
Able to zoom more at sea and in boarding
Text box enlarge to allow text to overflow
Adding an option to never show the ships' HP gauge
Adding an offset to the ships' HP gauge
Decreased ships' HP gauge size by 22%
