Advanced underground drill mechanics - #Devlog 2

The Core Splitter Drill #Devlog 2 In the previous version of Core Splitter, there was no interactive component to the Core Splitter Drill. It was just casually drilling ang progressing. That needed to change.

addedYou can now add or remove 5 or 10 items to the crafting quantity at once in the Crafting menu when pressing ctrl click or shift click.

QoL

  • There is more guidance towards placing the first building (Utility Hub) in the build menu

  • There is a new hint explaining that the map is infinite and procedurally generated. (People were running out of resources and couldn't find more in the explored map and thought they were locked/stuck)

  • It is now communicated that when RAS Tendrils are cut off, they are slowly decaying, by changing the border color of cut off RAS Tendrils.

  • Updated description of combat units to describe that they are only meant to capture sites. Some players thought they would work as the defense towers, but actually also attack the RAS Tendrils. That could maybe a feature for later :)

Bugfixes

  • Conveyor belts are no longer placed when the belt is on the cursor and the player clicks in a UI menu (thanks for reporting this, fodder)

  • Texts overflowing UI in certain languages.

  • Fixed crashes that were happening to a few players.
