changedHow to access the beta branch:

If you’re running into these problems, we’d really appreciate your help testing this branch 🙌

How to access the beta branch:

  1. Go to your game library

  2. Right-click the game → Properties

  3. Navigate to the Betas tab

  4. Select the [c] bcs_beta [/c] branch from the dropdown menu

  5. Let the game update, check if you have [bcs_beta] at the end of the game name in library:

⚠️ Important: Both players need to have the bcs_beta branch selected to play together.

In the beta branch, your default characters and saves will not be available — this is intentional to protect your original progress from potential corruption. You can save the game normally, but the saves will be in another location (CookingSimulator2Beta) so you can transfer them manually, but on your own responsibility.

When you switch back to the default branch, your saves and characters should work normally

Once you’re set up, just create a game as usual and see if the issues persist.

Your feedback is valuable and will help us track down and fix these problems faster. Thanks for helping out! 💙
