🚆Development Roadmap
Container Terminal Simulator is actively evolving. Below is our current development roadmap, reflecting the main directions we are focusing on in the coming months.
🔜 Short-Term Plans (Winter 2025 / Early 2026)
🚆 New Cargo Types
I am working on expanding the variety of cargo handled at the terminal:
Steel Coils (Sheet Metal) Heavy industrial cargo with unique handling and economic parameters.
Tank Containers Liquid cargo containers using standard 20-ft mounting points, allowing smooth integration into existing logistics.
These cargo types will introduce new gameplay scenarios, economic balancing, and visual diversity.
⚙️ Gameplay & System Improvements
Ongoing bug fixing and stability improvements
Further optimization of lighting, shadows, and loading processes
Improvements to container interaction and attachment logic
Continued UI polishing and quality-of-life updates
🚧 Mid-Term Goals (Early 2026)
🤝 Cooperative Multiplayer (In Development)
One of the main goals for the next stage of development is co-op multiplayer:
Shared terminal management
Each player operating their own equipment
Cooperative logistics and task distribution
Support systems such as equipment leasing/rental, designed specifically for multiplayer gameplay
Multiplayer development is planned to intensify in January, with active implementation and testing.
🚀 Full Release Target (February / March 2026)
I am aiming for a full release that includes:
Fully implemented cooperative multiplayer
Expanded cargo types and logistics systems
Polished economy and progression balance
Improved visuals, sound, and overall stability
💬 Final Notes
This roadmap reflects our current vision and priorities. Development is ongoing, and plans may evolve as we continue improving the game based on feedback and testing.
Thank you for supporting Container Terminal Simulator and being part of its development!
