Egg Hatching Fix + Major Performance Improvements | v4.3.15

Egg Hatching Fix

A bug was identified where hatch progress could occasionally be applied to a random egg instead of the currently equipped egg. This issue has now been corrected.

The good news is that overall hatch progress should still have been recorded properly. The bug primarily affected where that progress was being assigned rather than the total amount earned.

Massive Optimization Pass

This update also includes a major optimization pass focused on improving overall game performance.

Players should notice smoother gameplay, improved responsiveness, and reduced FPS impact in many situations. While optimization is an ongoing process, this update contains some of the largest performance improvements made to the game so far.

Additional Fixes

Several other edge-case bugs have also been patched as part of this update.

Update Requirement Incoming

Players who have not updated the game recently should be aware that future versions will require all players to be on the latest release.

Once this requirement is enabled, an update notice will appear and prevent access to the game until the game has been restarted and updated.

I will do my best to wait for as many players as possible to update organically before enabling this requirement.

🚀 Looking Ahead – Auto Clicker Progression System [Coming Soon]

I've come up with a new plan to introduce a passive leveling system for every newly released Auto Clicker.

This progression system will feature:

  • A brand-new Auto Clicker Leaderboard • Achievement-based unlocks • Deep long-term progression • Additional Auto Clicker Speed Buffs • Competitive leaderboard rankings

The goal is to make every Auto Clicker feel like its own progression path rather than simply another upgrade to purchase.

Clicker Cruise Control DLC [Coming Soon]

A built-in Auto Clicker, currently planned under the name Clicker Cruise Control, is in development as an optional DLC. The name and details are still subject to change.

This system is designed to mimic the functionality of external auto clickers while remaining balanced within the game's progression systems.

To keep gameplay fair:

  • It will operate slower than active manual clicking • It is intended primarily as a quality-of-life feature • Player input will be blocked while the DLC is active • It cannot be combined with manual clicking for additional speed

The DLC can be disabled at any time if you wish to return to manual clicking.

For players who prefer a more relaxed experience, this will effectively introduce a true full-idle mode to the game.

Additional ideas currently being explored include:

  • Making Clicker Cruise Control free-to-play on weekends • Adding deeper progression systems tied specifically to the DLC • Adding offline progression mechanics and rewards

Please note that these features are only ideas at this stage. Nothing has been finalized or confirmed yet.

I have to say, I'm getting really excited about what's coming next! 😀
