🥚 Egg Troves, Bonus Rolls & Cursor Rain | v5.0.00 🥚
Hey everyone!
Update v5.0.00 is here, bringing Egg Troves, reward bonus rolls, new drop animation styles, a custom Auto Clicker celebration, new achievements, live economy tracking improvements, hatch animation improvements, layout fixes, and important sync fixes.

🥚 Egg Troves Are Here
Egg Troves are a new daily playtime reward.
After 3 hours of playtime in a day, you will be able to claim 1 Egg Trove.
This does not need to be completed in one session. Your daily playtime progress can build across multiple sessions during the same day.
Only 1 Egg Trove can be earned per day.
You will now see a new Egg Trove counter and icon in the top-left of the main screen.
Once your Egg Trove is ready, the game will show a claim status update and a small pulse animation.
Click the Egg Trove icon to claim it.
A reward animation will then play, showing the Egg Trove you earned. After claiming, the Egg Trove is placed into your Steam Inventory.
🎁 What Can Egg Troves Be Used For?
Egg Troves are Steam Inventory items connected to the rarity of the trove you earned.
Right now, Egg Troves can be used in-game in two main ways:
Hatch the Egg Trove into a special collectable pet version
Convert the Egg Trove into dupes that can be used to tier up pets
Collectable pets are still being expanded, and their long-term purpose may grow in future updates.
Collectable pet icons are also planned to receive some form of exclusive reskin or visual treatment, so they feel more distinct from regular pets in the steam inventory.
The current naming is still being explored. For now, these pets may use naming such as:
Collectable [Pet Name]
This may change as the system develops.
🎲 Egg Trove Drop Rates
Egg Troves use the following drop rates:

These rates are also visible in-game on the main button screen in the top-right, click the (i) button.
Rates may be adjusted during Early Release to protect the long-term health of the collection and economy.
🎰 Egg Trove Bonus Rolls
Claiming or hatching an Egg Trove can trigger bonus rewards.
Bonus rewards can include XP, Egg Shards, Pets, Boost Bottles, and Egg Catalysts.
Bonus rewards are much more common when claiming your daily Egg Trove. When hatching Egg Troves, bonus rewards are about 10x rarer because hatching is not limited to once per day.

🎁 Daily Claim Bonus
Your daily Egg Trove claim has a high chance to give bonus rewards.

A standard bonus starts with 1 reward, then has a 45% chance to add another reward each time.
Standard bonuses are capped at 7 rewards, so they usually give 1–3 rewards, with rare chains going higher.
A jackpot bonus gives 8–25 rewards.
🎲 Bonus Reward Types
When a bonus reward is triggered, the main reward is chosen from this pool:

💎 Egg Shard Rewards
Egg Shard amounts depend on the rarity.
Shard rewards are weighted toward the lower end of each range.

Mythic Troves/shards/pets are not released yet.
📊 Live Economy Transparency
The economy panel now tracks more live data for Egg Troves and collectable pets.
You can view live totals from the Economy Panel, accessed through the bottom-left button in-game.
This lets players monitor item supply, rarity totals, collectable pet stats, and hatch rarity data more clearly.
Egg Trove hatch rarities use the same in-game hatch rarity system. You can check those rates from the Egg Inventory in the top-right.
⚠️ Important Note About Steam Inventory, Trading & Market
Egg Troves are currently Steam Inventory items, but trading and Steam Market support are not enabled at this time.
These items may become tradable and/or marketable in the future, but this is not confirmed and should not be treated as guaranteed.
Please do not collect, hatch, hold, or convert Egg Troves with the expectation of future Steam Market value. The main purpose of Egg Troves right now is in-game collection, hatching, and progression. If trading/marketable status does turn on as planned, it will effect your prior collected troves/collectables.
If trading or Steam Market support is enabled later, it will follow Steam’s rules, restrictions, fees, eligibility requirements, and availability. Steam Market access, item eligibility, and account restrictions may vary by account or region.
Egg Trove systems, hatch rates, rarity values, item behavior, and collectable pet features may still be adjusted during Early Release to protect the long-term health of the game economy.
🐾 Rarity & Economy Protection
Pet and Egg rarity values may still be adjusted during Early Release to protect the long-term health of the economy.
Rarity and collection protection are very important, and the goal is to lock in rates as soon as possible.
So far, existing pet rarities have not been changed and no plans to change them are in place.
New pet introductions can naturally affect overall rarity distribution, but the goal is always to keep the economy as stable and consistent as possible.
✨ New Drop Animation Styles
Two new drop animation styles have been added.
One of the new styles is now the default because it has become my personal favorite.
If you prefer the previous style, or want to try the new options, you can change this in:
Settings → Drops → Drop Theme
You can find the Drop Theme setting near the bottom-right of the Drops category.
Auto Clicker drops also now feature their own custom cursor rain celebration animation.
🏆 New Achievements
A new batch of achievements has been added, giving players more long-term goals across hatching, collecting, daily play, pet tiers, and rare drops.
Each unlocked achievement also provides an in-game player XP boost of 0.5%.

🐞 Bug Fixes & Improvements
Fixed a client-side hatch progress sync issue where hatch progress could display incorrectly or fall out of sync in certain cases.
Fixed a bug where 2 hatch animations could play when claiming from the Egg Incubator.
Improved the hatch animation.
ℹ️ How to Play Info Updated
The How to Play info descriptions have been fully redone for better readability.
You can access them by clicking the (i) icon in the top-right of the main click/button screen.
🛠️ Layout & Settings Fixes
This update also includes multiple smaller layout fixes across the game, including improvements to the settings layout.
Some UI elements related to Egg Troves are still being polished. More rewards and features will be added to the prize machine.
