It's genuinely exciting to finally share the new version of the demo with everyone.

A lot has changed over the past year. Nearly every part of the game has been rebuilt, expanded or reworked throughout development. Combat, atmosphere, progression, visuals, performance, environmental detail and core gameplay systems have all gone through major changes.

I continue to develop Colonies of The Remnant as a solo game and it continues to grow with every update.

This demo is a short prologue-style experience that offers a first look at the current world, direction, atmosphere, tone and survival-focused gameplay of COTR.

In the demo, you will be able to:

  • Explore the early world of Colonies of The Remnant

  • Experience the updated gameplay systems

  • Get an early look at the game's survival-focused gameplay

  • Experience the atmosphere and tone of the current version of COTR

The support, feedback and positive reviews from the community over the last year have genuinely helped push development forward and continue shaping the future of the game.

As development continues, you may still encounter bugs, technical issues, rough edges, balance problems or unfinished elements throughout the demo. Feedback, bug reports and general impressions remain extremely valuable during this stage of development and you can share them through the official Discord community.

The demo will also be part of Steam Next Fest starting June 15, alongside additional announcements and updates that will be revealed during the event.
