WHAT'S NEXT?
Based on player feedback, the overall gameplay loop is there but a few things are missing the mark. I plan on making the following changes for the next playtest to gather more feedback and am looking forward to hearing what you think! Those changes will include:
More meaningful Base Module upgrades
Scrapping system overhaul and more uses for scrapped items
More difficult and rewarding Night Raids (they currently feel too similar to a normal raid)
Simplified and more meaningful Danger system (red skulls determining map difficulty and loot value)
More satisfying enemy AI (this is a big one for many players)
Trader Inventory overhaul
Improved tutorial to include explanations for things like ergonomics and various ammo types
Inventory / weight management (items were generally too heavy)
Common material availability (many struggled to find enough basic items like cloth, metal, etc.)
A few new surprises and systems :)
