Repeated intro
Hello everyone. First of all, we'd like to thank all of you that backed us on this campaign. For us, this Kickstarter campaign was not just about funding, but also about building the game around the community who believed in Code RAPID.

Code RAPID changes
All the support we've received meant the world to us as a small team. We could not have come this far without you.
What happened?
This was an ambitious campaign, and unfortunately we weren't able to reach the funding needed to make it happen.
We learned a tremendous amount throughout the campaign, from how we presented the project to what resonated with people and what didn't. If we decide to run another Kickstarter in the future, we'll be able to apply everything we've learned.
We know $280,000 was a significant amount to ask for. It wasn't chosen to inflate the scope of the project, it was the minimum we believed would allow us to finish the game responsibly. Even at that budget, most of the team would have gone without pay for the next two years.
What does this mean for the game?
The demo, which represents over two years of development, will remain available for everyone to play for free.
We still have enough runway to continue development, so work on Code RAPID isn't stopping. Our focus remains on completing the main campaign while continuing to improve the game.
We'll also continue releasing updates, missions, mechs, weapons, and new features for our Patreon supporters to playtest.
What does this mean for the team?
The biggest impact is that we can't expand the team as we'd hoped.
Part of the Kickstarter budget was intended to bring on a second artist to help speed up development. Without that additional support, progress will continue at the pace our current artist can realistically sustain.
For now, our focus is on making the most of Patreon and continuing development one step at a time. If you'd like to help keep the project moving forward, we'd greatly appreciate your support on our Patreon.
Thank you again for your amazing support. We hope you continue to enjoy following our journey.
