Steam Next Fest Release

Day One Yes, I am going to be releasing a Day One Patch as there are a few things I noticed late last night and today, that I want to make sure I fix right away!

Day One

Yes, I am going to be releasing a Day One Patch as there are a few things I noticed late last night and today, that I want to make sure I fix right away!

  • Controls menu does not show all the correct inputs and will be fixed immediately

  • Lethal Pickups have a bug where your weapons are invisible after picking up more lethals, for now lethal pickups are disabled, and this will be fixed right away so you can blow things up as soon as possible ( you have a few lethals available on spawn that you can use until this is fixed )

  • Leaderboard menu has an issue where it is not showing all the leaderboards (currently investigating this)

  • The initial Tutorial has been updated to include a bit more information for the beginning of your journey

  • New gameplay screenshots with updated weapon, customization, enemies, environments and level art, and update descriptions for each of these new images

  • New in game music

Coming This Week

  • Full Game Release is coming this week, I want to have a few days with the Demo Live before releasing the full game into Early Access to allow players to test the game and get a feel for everything as well as patch up any bugs I can find

  • New Gameplay Trailer: the original gameplay trailer is more of a teaser, when the game was minimal and had zombies to fight, now, there is much more to show!

  • Easter Eggscurrently all easter eggs are disabled but will be enabled later in the week for both the Demo and the Full Game
  • Updated social media with new screenshots, gameplay videos, sneek peeks for whats coming, and more!

Known Issues

  • Quality Settings Crash: upon changing the Effects Quality on some hardware there has been a crash, I highly recommend adjusting most of your Quality settings in the main menu so you don't lose any game progress (crash typically only occurs when changing multiple settings quickly, but to be safe I recommend adjusting these prior to hopping into Ground Zero until I can get this solved)

  • Startup Movie Flicker: The video that plays on launch flickers in some cases (I opoligize for this as it looks like crap and shouldn't be that way - I am currently investigating a fix and will try and get this solved as soon as possible)

  • Input MappingSome issues occur where input mapping changes were not applying correctly, I am investigating this issue and will try my best to make custom input mapping available as soon as I can
  • Melee Weapon Duplicationwhen picking up a new melee weapon there are cases where you will see 2 melee weapons in your hand, oops
  • Staminacurrently Stamina has a bug and does not work properly, this is a slight advantage right now as I have turned Stamina off, until this is fixed you can freely run and do tricks for as long as you want (enjoy this while it lasts)

Coming Soon / Work in Progress

  • More ways to get Ammo: Adding Ammo puchasing to the Weapon Armory instead of just on the wall where you bought the weapon

  • Bonus Rounds and Power Upsenemies introduced in Bonus Rounds are near complete and will drop special power ups at the end of a Bonus Round
  • Bullet FX improvementsI have a whole new suite of VFX to introduce for Bullets, for now they are minimal but will be much more dynamic as I can make more unique ones for each weapon
  • Intel and Collectables: many collectables and intel are hard to find, and most are linked directly to the Easter Eggs, they are currently deactive until I can get all of the ones needed for initial Easter Eggs, but there will be many to discover as part of the Achievements (high priority for the Achievement Hunters out there)

  • Level Art: not all areas of the world are completed and some of the Level may seem empty as this is still being worked on, Ground Zero is a large 2x2 km world thats fully explorable, as one person, its been difficult to cover all the ground (pun-intended) ; I will be updating this and completing those empty areas as soon as I can

  • Weapon Crafting Benchthe game does have mystery / wonder weapons that can be crafted at the weapon bench but all the parts are linked to the Collectable system and Easter Eggs; this feature will be introduced at full scale along with the completion of the Initial Easter Eggs and Collectable systems
  • The Bankwith inspiration from COD BO2 Burried when the Bank was a large mechanic for storing money, cash you store in the Bank will be available in future games so you can have a headstart to continue exploring where you left off in a previous game
  • Pick your Starting Round: currently you must start on Round 1, I do plan on adding the ability to start at a higher round of your choice, so you can get right back into the action

  • More Accolades to collectthe only Accolades currently available are for Ranks, I will slowly roll out more Accolades for Combos, Tricks and Trickshots, Weapon Upgrading, and more ; some may even tie into new Achievements or new Leaderboards to compete on ( I would also love some community feedback on this )
