Coal Duty changes
Hello miners,
It’s been a while since we last spoke. We’ve been deep in development, and as you may have heard, we’ve started distributing playtest access. There are currently more than 5,000 playtest requests waiting, so don't worry if you haven’t received access yet, we plan to keep running playtest waves all the way up to our demo launch.
We’ve received a lot of valuable feedback during the first phase, and we’re grateful to everyone who took the time. We’re doing our best to consider every piece of it in great detail, from big picture things like difficulty balancing, to the tiniest bug reports like snow appearing under a table. (Yes, we read that one too.)
We’re also very glad to announce that our wishlist count is closing in on 20,000. This is a huge milestone for us, and we couldn't have done it without you.
Here's a short look at what we've been building:
City Area (Restricted Zone): You can now escape the base and take a stroll through the city, gather loot, and try your luck slipping past the guards.
Tavern: If you make it past the guards, why not stop by the local pub? Have a drink or two with your friends!
Smuggler: Through the back door of the tavern, you'll find Smugglerette, where you can sell items found in the mines for tickets. She also carries different illegal goods every night that might come in handy on your journey.
