Hi Legends,

Here's the new devlog. This one is about Master at Arms: the new pre-round buy phase, and the system that finally gives every weapon a real place in your player’s story.

Before each round, you now make an actual economy decision. Not just ECO, FORCE or FULL as labels, but real credits, real gear and real consequences: pistol, SMG or rifle choices, side-based weapons, kevlar, helmet, defuse kit and utility. Survivors keep what they saved, and you only pay for what you add.

Win the pistol and you can try to convert with an anti-eco. Lose the wrong rifle and the next round feels different.

Weapons That Actually Matter Master at Arms currently includes 16 weapons, split between pistols, SMGs, rifles and snipers.

Each weapon has its own price, kill reward and stats: damage, penetration, precision, recoil, mobility, magazine and fire rate.

The important part is that these are not just UI numbers. The same weapon data feeds the 2D live match, so what you inspect in the buy phase is what shapes the fight on the field.

You can follow the coach template, or adjust the buy yourself section by section: pistol, SMG, rifle, sniper, armor and utility.

Weapon Mastery Every player now develops mastery with individual weapons across their career.

Use an AK, M4, AWP, Deagle or SMG often enough, and that weapon becomes part of who the player is. Mastery grows both in the 2D live match and in simulated matches, so progression keeps moving whichever way you play.

Mastery improves control, precision and handling.

It does not magically increase damage. A mastered weapon feels cleaner, not fake.

AI players have mastery and preferences too, so an AWPer, Entry Fragger or Support will not all grow in the same direction.

A Small Note About Skins Right now, the weapon visuals are intentionally simple.

They are clean base versions, made to keep Master at Arms, Weapon Mastery and the killfeed consistent. But there is a reason for building the armory this way.

After all, who would not want to win a Major and, together with fame and prize money, bring home a couple of skins for the weapons that carried them there? More on that later.

Master at Arms is one of the biggest pieces of 1.3 because it changes the feeling of every round before it even starts.

See you soon,

Federico
