Greetings Thieves,
I’ve been actively reading your feedback, and for those of you creating content around Cloak And Coin, I’ve also been keeping a close eye on your streams, shorts, and clips to see where the game can improve. As with recent updates, this patch is very much focused on overall game health. tightening balance, fixing issues, and refining the core experience before moving on to larger content drops.
Gameplay:
Improved AI collision tracing and pathing across all existing contracts. I’ll continue tinkering with this until I’m fully happy with how the AI behaves.
Expanded the random radius that Guard AI uses when searching for players, making encounters a little more forgiving overall.
Rebalanced all Vault Key spawns on the Jewels of the Trade contract. Some of the previous placements were a little too obvious for my liking, so they’ve been spread out more evenly.
Expanded the Lethal Dynamite curse to also apply when Dynamite is used on Safes and Display Cases.
Removed the Steal Goblets secondary objective and replaced it with Steal X Books. Goblets can be a particularly valuable piece of loot, and removing that option from players didn’t feel right from a balance perspective.
Updated the ambient soundscape for the Jewels of the Trade contract to better suit the map and setting.
Bug fixes:
Fixed an issue where Spectators could be unable to re-open the Pause menu if it was opened and closed in quick succession.
Fixed an issue where Hosts could select multiple Secondary Objective Curses in the Contract Maker. This is now correctly limited to one per contract.
Fixed an issue where active curses were not correctly appearing on some players’ Pause menus.
Fixed an issue where Players could hover over some buttons in menus causing them to rapidly select and deselect.
As always if you have any feedback or bugs to report, you can do so right here in Steam's own discussions page. Alternatively if you’d like to connect with fellow thieves and report bugs on the official Discord server you can join today .
Happy heisitng!
