More content is already in the pipeline, but for now I believe it’s best to continue polishing the core gameplay experience and ensuring it feels as solid and fair as possible.
changedGameplay:Re-balanced Guard patrol paths on the following contracts: Golden Tides , Bone Museum , and Brewing Troubles . These contracts should now feel a little more forgiving, giving Players more breathing room to navigate areas where Guard patrols previously felt too punishing.
changedGameplay:Decreased the alarm raised multiplier deduction from 0.2 to 0.15 .
changedGameplay:Increased the bonus objective completion multiplier to 0.6 , ensuring there is always a worthwhile reward for completing the bonus objective.
addedGameplay:Updated Dynamite’s equipment description to clearly state that it can be used on Locked Doors and Safes .

This update focuses on resolving some of the reported bugs and improving the overall health and balance of the game. More content is already in the pipeline, but for now I believe it’s best to continue polishing the core gameplay experience and ensuring it feels as solid and fair as possible.

Gameplay:

  • Re-balanced Guard patrol paths on the following contracts: Golden Tides, Bone Museum, and Brewing Troubles. These contracts should now feel a little more forgiving, giving Players more breathing room to navigate areas where Guard patrols previously felt too punishing.

  • Decreased the alarm raised multiplier deduction from 0.2 to 0.15.

  • Increased the bonus objective completion multiplier to 0.6, ensuring there is always a worthwhile reward for completing the bonus objective.

  • Updated Dynamite’s equipment description to clearly state that it can be used on Locked Doors and Safes.

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where Players experiencing lag or bandwidth issues could miss their payout at the end of a contract.

  • Fixed an issue where the Indebted curse would not correctly deduct a Player’s payout at the end of a contract.

  • Fixed an issue where the Hexed curse could not be selected from the Contract Maker menu.

  • Fixed an issue where, in rare cases, a Player’s cursor could become stuck on screen when closing the Yuletide event notification menu.

  • Fixed an issue where some Players were unable to see active lobbies in the Lobby Browser from the Main Menu.

  • Fixed an issue where Steam Cloud saving would not correctly upload Player data or download it upon re-entering the game.

  • Fixed an issue where some Players entering the game for the first time would not receive the prompt to create their Thief.
