City States: Medieval changes
After all the work over the past few months, we`re finally in a much happier place with City States - from performance and visuals to gameplay. The game has come a long way during Early Access, and your reports, feedback, and support have helped a lot along the way.
This week`s update continues that work, with a focus on world map performance, visual improvements, camera scrolling, and additional campaign polish.
The biggest part of this update is a major improvement to world map performance. Most systems should now see a noticeable FPS increase on the world map, along with smoother scrolling and reduced lag during movement.
We`ve also improved the look of the world map, especially during winter. Trees have received new art and animations, along with better performance handling, helping the campaign map both look and run better.
This update also includes additional campaign polish, UI improvements, AI improvements, cinematic fixes, and another round of balancing work across research, resources, and the campaign economy.
And once again - thank you so much for the reports, feedback, and support during Early Access!
