changedWhat to expect in this version? At this stage of development, you can already build complex intersections, overpasses, and tunnels. You can set intersection rules, such as traffic lights, yield signs, and lane connections. It is possible that in specific, edge cases, something might not work as intended or might break. As a solo developer, I am unable to test every single scenario, so I will be incredibly grateful if you could share your save files when you encounter a bug. You can email them as a ZIP file to citypainter@blunix.games or just send me a link to your Steam Workshop item. Together, we will polish this game to perfection!
changedWhat to expect in this version?Citizens have their own daily schedules. They commute to work, go shopping, and drive their kids to school. The education system is functioning, including changing schools, and workplaces require appropriate education levels. I'm looking forward to your feedback to help fine-tune the gameplay balance. Various little details will likely change many times so that the game reflects reality as closely as possible.
changedWhat to expect in this version?I have to admit: before the Early Access launch, I didn't manage to finish something as important as the production of goods in factories and their distribution to shops. So, get ready, after one of the first updates, the traffic in your cities will noticeably increase! Also, the citizen happiness and zone demand systems are currently quite simplified.

Here we go!

What to expect in this version?

Since this is just the beginning, not everything might work perfectly yet. I hope you'll forgive me. I will do my best to make the game run better and smoother with every update.

Future plans

In upcoming updates, I plan to introduce (among other things):

  • public transport (buses),

  • varied terrain (mountains, rivers, lakes),

  • city services (fire department, police, hospitals, garbage collection, and transporting deceased citizens),

  • electricity and water systems,

  • the ability to share and download intersections via the Steam Workshop.

To wrap up

Please report any bugs you encounter and share your suggestions in the Steam Discussions. I will also be immensely grateful for every positive review on Steam. It really helps the Steam algorithm notice my game and motivates me to keep working hard.
