Dear Car Enthusiasts!

We have an important update: the early access release of City Car Driving 2.0 has been postponed to November 2025.

We understand how eager you are for the game’s release, and we are equally excited to share the final product of our work. However, to ensure the highest quality, we must take additional time to refine the project.

Why this happened:

Traffic System Development in UE5 We were unable to meet deadlines for integrating and fine-tuning the traffic system. This is a core element of the game, and its absence would make the game incomplete. Developing AI that fully adheres to traffic regulations within the UE5 engine proved far more complex than anticipated.

Performance Optimization While we’ve made significant progress toward achieving stable and acceptable FPS performance, further improvements are needed. In its current state, the game is not ready for release, even in early access.

This is not the first time we’ve had to postpone, and we’ve always aimed to keep you informed about our plans. Below, we address your most common questions:

Discord Server: We remember! It will be launched before the early access release.

Closed Beta Testing: Yes, it will happen! We’ll announce details separately across all social media platforms.

Gameplay Footage: You’ve seen regular updates on our social media and store pages. A full, unedited gameplay showcase will be shared alongside the beta test.

System Requirements: We’re optimizing for a wide range of hardware. Requirements will be announced before the beta test.

To our incredible community: The entire development team is deeply grateful for your feedback, engagement, criticism, ideas, and, most importantly, your patience and support. Your passion fuels our motivation to keep moving forward.

We’ll see you on the roads—both real and virtual! We will reach the finish line.

With gratitude, The City Car Driving 2.0 Development Team
