changedTwo New LeadersIcarus’ forces revolve around cheap, fast, and surprisingly dangerous rat units that can be spawned directly into hostile circles connected to your territory. Armed with critical-damage knives and supported by upgrades that enhance their deadliness, you can use them to quickly overwhelm your enemies. As your army grows, you can vanquish your enemies using bows, pole-torches, ensnaring abilities that pin units down, and even corpse workers who harvest food from the fallen.
addedTwo New LeadersWe’ve also added Harry the Harvester , who takes a very different approach.
addedUpdate Roundup: What We Added In The Past 2 WeeksThe Venom Scimitar is a brand-new fast-attacking weapon that applies poison, while being less effective against buildings and armored units . It also comes with a different resource cost, using wood instead of food.
addedUpdate Roundup: What We Added In The Past 2 WeeksWe’ve also introduced the sleeping mechanic, adding another layer of tactical control. Units can now be put to sleep, temporarily disabling them until they wake up naturally or take damage . There’s a short window where they won’t wake from damage, and more resilient units are harder to keep asleep for long.

Hey everyone,

We’re back with another update, and this one introduces not one, but two new leaders to challenge, each bringing their own unique playstyle and a few surprises.

Two New Leaders

First up is Icarus the Infiltrator, a sneaky new playable leader who commands an army of rats and… well, you’ll see.

Icarus’ forces revolve around cheap, fast, and surprisingly dangerous rat units that can be spawned directly into hostile circles connected to your territory.

And then there’s the cat.

A very large, very pricey, very cute-looking unit that fires independently targeted lasers from each eye. It’s a true powerhouse, and when it finally goes down, it doesn’t go quietly; its eyes remain behind as separate units that continue firing. Y’know, just like a normal cat?

We’ve also added Harry the Harvester, who takes a very different approach.

Harry leads a coalition of workers and jack-o’-lanterns, built around growing and managing his forces in unusual ways. His signature unit, the Pumpkin Monster, consumes every pumpkin and pumpkin person in its circle – whether it’s a friend or a foe – gaining experience from it and potentially reaching very high levels.

Your enemies will reap what you sow!

Update Roundup: What We Added In The Past 2 Weeks

The Venom Scimitar is a brand-new fast-attacking weapon that applies poison, while being less effective against buildings and armored units. It also comes with a different resource cost, using wood instead of food.

We’ve also introduced the sleeping mechanic, adding another layer of tactical control. Units can now be put to sleep, temporarily disabling them until they wake up naturally or take damage. There’s a short window where they won’t wake from damage, and more resilient units are harder to keep asleep for long.

To support this, we’ve added the Sleep Arrow, which puts targets to sleep from a distance, and Sleep Blast, an area effect juice bottle that can disable entire groups of enemies at once. Several leaders have also been updated with new units that make use of these additions.

Biomes now include enemies using the new weapons, with some swamps turning into frog swamps. We’ve also made balance adjustments to units like Ghosts and Frogmen, alongside a number of fixes and visual improvements to keep things running smoothly.

That’s it for now! As you’ve seen in our Discussion forum, we’re steadily trying to improve Circle Empires 2 with your feedback and our, more or less, crazy ideas. Thank you, as always, for your feedback and support. We truly appreciate having you on this journey with us!

Now go out and amass some rats and pumpkin people,

Luminous
