Thank you to all the players who tested the game during Steam Next Fest. Thanks to the huge influx of players and everyone who shared feedback, both positive and negative we were able to gather a lot of valuable information about bugs and technical issues.

We’ve taken note of everything and we’re fixing problems step by step, not only for the full game (of course), but also for the demo. We’ve just released a big patch to make your demo experience smoother, more stable, and as bug-free as possible, with the improvements below:

  • Fixed fire extinguisher lock projection issue.

  • Fixed clients and employees getting locked when an action can’t be completed (BIG ONE).

  • Fixed duplicate alerts during fights + fire alert skipping the “Call 911” step.

  • Fixed restroom props flickering when used.

  • Fixed room creation UI window disappearing.

  • Fixed UI issue where a GameObject sometimes starts dragging unexpectedly.

  • Fixed incremental props (food) sprite flick.

  • Fixed TechTree Alert UI not updating when opened.

  • Fixed client not detecting the pianist.

  • Fixed Employee UI shortcut closing when already opened.

✨ Improvements

  • Improved player/object selection highlight.

  • Improved building view: hide room icon alert.

  • Improved building view: allow seeing other rooms in darkness.

  • Improved tables: clearer “needs seating” alert.

  • Improved building UI after placementfixed GameObject/UI overlap.
  • Improved spectator feedback: link feedback to the relevant projection.

  • Improved food prompt feedback.

  • Improved client UI: you can click on a client and see their feedback directly.

If you haven’t had the chance to try the demo yet, now is the perfect time to discover the game in the best conditions. And if you were waiting for fewer bugs and technical issues, this patch is also for you.

Your feedback is incredibly important to our small team, we are only 2 people, and I’m handling the code + game design alone, so I’m doing my best to listen carefully and improve the game as much as possible.
