This update had much to do with reworking network functionality to make sure that new mechanics that are coming will be supported. There is also more of a physics impact in things you do and some much needed balance changes.

FIXES:

  • Flippers dealt damage sometimes

  • Enemies colliding with map buggy if too far away

  • Minion hit sounds not played for other players than Anthia

  • Melee should feel like it connects better now (minions and players)

  • Interrupting enemy attacks works better now

  • Bolter preview

  • Unity changed execution order at some point, animations were played in wrong order

  • Many small fixes

CHANGES:

  • Blood splats look a bit better

  • Rewritten weapon and trap networked actions for more flexibility

  • Network player actions now transmitted more often

  • Better projectile interpolation for clients

ADDITIONS:

  • Traps can now create blood splats from enemies

BALANCE:

  • Many weapons and traps now have more force

  • Weapons and traps now better apply physics to enemies based on their weight

  • More damage to enemies if they collide with map

  • Even more damage to enemies if they collide with map with their critical part (the head mostly)

  • Minions now apply force when killing enemies

  • Jabberwhacky broke the balance, it should be a bit weaker now
