Chrono Gear: Warden of Time changes
We hope everyone had a good holiday! Today's update addresses some of the more uncommon bugs and oversights.
If you'd like to help us test it out, right click Chrono Gear in your Steam library, select Properties, and in the Betas tab, select "testing - For new experimental builds" under Beta Participation.
If everything looks good, we'll push this onto the main branch in a day or two.
Thank you again for your reports!
General:
Door transitions should feel smoother if entered with run lead enabled in the camera settings.
Fixed some instances of warp gate lines appearing for one frame before they're properly drawn.
Widened the input conflict prompt.
Fixed mouse input in the stage confirmation menu of the alternate world map.
Enemies:
Fixed a typo in the Volcanic Eel codex entry.
Sentry Hands should be affected by Stasis again.
Castle Road:
Fixed one of the bridge platforms having no collision when jumped into from a specific spot.
Town Square:
Hanging signs should now rotate properly when struck.
vs. RBC4:
Blocked backtracking after the final checkpoint is crossed, as the boss was behaving strangely in this situation.
Entropy:
Fixed an issue introduced by the previous test build where activating Stasis during an hourglass rotation would reset the rotation to the beginning.
Dark Nest:
The camera behavior after exiting a shmup section should be smoother.
Tower of Darkness:
Increased the size of one of the frozen time areas in the final section.
Steel on Steel:
Fixed an issue where being on a grind rail when the scenery shifts would not move the player to the next location.
Zero Seconds to Midnight:
Restored the swarm of sword projectiles during the final rewind scene after they erroneously stopped spawning due to other changes.
