The game in it's current state is not forgiving and really makes you hate playing it. We're here to fix that in this update.

ADDITIONS

  • Speedboost powerups now grant invincibility for 1 second (roughly 30% of the full duration of the boost) on pickup!

  • Scraps now auto-collect if on screen when you reach a boss.

  • Added controller configurations for Nintendo Switch Pro and Sony Dualshock 4 controllers.

  • Arcade is now locked until you play one run in Story mode.

  • All bosses in Boss Rush now have health bars!

  • Your weapons and ammo now transfers into the final level.

ADJUSTMENTS

  • Bob's turrets scale too hard, so we're making them easier.

  • --> Health per wave level reduced from 1 -> 0.2

  • --> Attack speed per level reduced from 0.01 -> 0.

  • Max Health perk nodes amount gained increased 3 -> 4.

  • Hitbox reduced on the player by roughly 50%. Hitbox now reaches across cockpit to each gun, leaving each wing not damageable.

  • Crashing into enemy ships damage reduced from Half of total HP -> 10 HP

  • Scrap Tank spawn rate increases a small amount every time it tries to spawn and doesn't spawn.

  • Player launched Missiles really feel weak and suboptimal.

  • --> Damage increased from Perk Level Damage -> Perk Level Damage + Half of Primary Weapon Damage

  • --> Damage increased per Perk Level gained from 2 damage -> 3 damage.

  • --> Homing Missile Turn Speed increased from 2 units/sec -> 3 units/sec

  • Laser damage perk upgrades increased per level from 3 -> 5.

  • Time it takes to travel the final run to Zelos' ship reduced by half.

  • You can no longer collect a speedboost mid dodge roll.

  • Enemies no longer bounce back after the player reaches a fast enough attack speed.

  • Missile Drones in the final level no longer strafe sideways while firing.

BUG FIXES

  • Fixed a bug where Scrap Tank would appear in Arcade.

  • Fixed a bug where turrets would fire during cutscenes.

  • Fixed a bug where Nova's arm in the Tetraknights would fire if he was dead.

  • Fixed a bug where Aqua's arm in the Tetraknights would fire if she was dead.

  • Fixed a bug where the Scrap Tractor Beam would not pull at an increasing speed to be collected.

  • Fixed a bug where some of the Tetraknights would talk in the cutscene even if they were dead.

  • Fixed a bug where the final level would have unoptimized level chunks, cutting off the player from finishing the game.

  • Fixed a bug where ground units would "bounce back" when being hit by bullets.

  • Fixed a bug where Tether Drones would have sorting issues.

  • Fixed a bug where ammo count would sometimes be hidden behind game elements.

  • Fixed a bug where some bosses would have glitched out health bars (we're looking at you, Nina).
