Chronicle: Unit Eight changes
We've been looking forward to this day for a very long time! It's been an amazing 8 months, and we cannot thank you all enough for the generosity, the support, and the feedback that we've received!
Launching out of Early Access does not mean the content is stopping, we have some New Game+ ideas and possible DLC in the future for even more content!
Without further ado, here are the Release v1.0 Patch Notes!
ADDITIONS
Achievements are now live! You can login to the game to auto receive some of them based on your current save files. Good luck unlocking all 69!
New Biome - "Zelos Ship Interior" - Traverse down the corridor without your ship and take out new enemies, turrets, obstacles and more!
Captain Zelos now has voice / lip syncing.
Tetraknight Gren and The Tetraknights both have a red warning before firing their vine attacks.
Sound revamp for a lot of stuff in the game.
Dialog now has a separate volume control [defaults at 100%].
ADJUSTMENTS
Base Defense System guns' Health Per Level ratio reduced from 3 -> 2.1.
Enemies have 10% less health after killing two bosses in a run.
Enemy damage is now reduced by 32.5% after killing one boss in a run. 100% -> 67.5%
Splitter Drones' spawns can now be destroyed.
Captain Zelos' voice over volume reduced by 20%.
Some challenges will now only show after you've unlocked the content to be able to complete that challenge.
Challenge - Kill Bob without Healing Him changed from Gold to Platinum. XP/Scraps increased to 350/200.
UI sound effects no longer move between ears.
UI sound effects no longer sound slightly different every time they're played.
The Tetraknights laser eye attack now fits the eyes better.
The Tetraknights arm attacks are now in unison if Nova and Aqua haven't died that run.
The Tetraknights missile burst attack is now more bursty.
BUG FIXES
Fixed a large gamebreaking bug where the Static City logo would not load at the beginning of the game for AMD graphics cards, causing unknown crash to desktops.
Fixed a bug whether the Tethered Drone were on the wrong sorting layer.
Fixed a bug where the Splitter Drone shadows were on the wrong sorting layer after it split.
Fixed a bug where missiles would be on the wrong sorting layer.
Fixed a bug where the Space Base biome would disappear after killing 3 bosses.
Fixed a bug where some boss ships were exploding too much.
Fixed a bug where Driller Drones were sometimes not launching at the player when in range.
Fixed a bug where Exploder Drones were sometimes not detonating when the player was in range.
Fixed a bug where Captain Zelos' ship was not flashing on damage.
Fixed a bug where sometimes the wrong music track would play.
Fixed a bug where if you eliminate Nina before The Siblings join together, Nano no longer wants to fight and goes AFK.
Fixed a bug where sometimes there would be invisible enemy bullets.
Fixed a bug where the Player's laser would sort behind enemies.
Fixed a bug where if the Co-Op player would pick up a Speedboost powerup, the game would crash.
Fixed a bug where The Grid's zoom out feature would not center over the correct perk.
Fixed a bug where the laser countdown timer would decrease when you were in cutscene or pause.
Fixed a bug where text would overlap the dialog box during cutscenes.
