Hello Human farmers,
It's been one whole month since my last devlog. A lot has been added since then and I cannot wait to show you guys. So let's begin...
Farm structures common platform
As we are moving closer and closer to our first playtest, we need to make the vibe and look of the game more cohesive. Currently our farm structures like butcher table, human cage, skin harvester etc all have a different vibe to them and when all of them are placed on the farm, it creates a chaos in terms of art style. So in order to control that style, we are creating a common foundation/platform on which all of the farm structure objects will be placed. We have a model sheet for that platform.
Here is how it looks like :-
Well Dive - Fishing mechanics
When players go around in the wild to catch humans, they will get scared and sometimes run away to hide inside the well. In order to get them out, you need a fishing rod and hooks. We have created a fishing mini game to pull humans out of the well. This will be used later on for fishing too.
Skin Harvesting
We have added skin harvesting farm structure to the farm. This is operated by croc. Players can capture wild humans and bring them to the croc for harvesting their skin. human skin will be used to craft tons of apparels, clothing and accessories.
Hair harvesting
Similar to skin harvesting, players will also be able to harvest human hair. Only human females can be used on this farm structure. This structure is operated by Lamblett the Sheep. She stands on a stool and cut down hair of human females. She enjoys her work a lot.
NPCs
In last devlog we showed dialogue portraits of 2 NPCs, Sir Oinksalot and Lady Moolissa. Here are their 3D models :-
Chiklet TukTuk animations
Last devlog we showed TukTuk mechanics, here are the animations for chiklet on TukTuk :-
That's it for the this month's content. Thank you for reading August's devlog!
It was a hell of a month but we can’t wait to push onwards into September. We eagerly await feedback during our time in alpha and will work to add more content over the coming months.
Until next time,
- Yash Kaushik
