addedThis was the first time where we made a build of the game live to the public. We learnt a lot of things during this playtest. In this devlog we will discuss about the feedback we have received during the playtest and new content that is being added to the game :)With this much feedback, we know for sure in which direction players want our game to go in. We will make sure that next time we go public with our demo, everyone is going to be impressed. We are even more confident with our game now as we know exactly what needs to be improved :) Other than playtests and feedback, we are also adding new content to the game. I want to keep the new content secret for a while as we are very excited how you guys will react to it. So you guys have to wait until the next devlog to get a sneak peek of our new additions. This devlog was mainly to thank all the players that have participated in the playtests and given feedback.

Hello Human farmers,

This was the first time where we made a build of the game live to the public. We learnt a lot of things during this playtest. In this devlog we will discuss about the feedback we have received during the playtest and new content that is being added to the game :)

First I want to thank all the players that have participated in the playtests and gave feedback. Seriously thank you guys for taking your time out and trying out what we have to offer. Giving a build of your game in the hands of public is truly nerve wrecking and it humbles you down to the core. This was our first time launching a public playtest as a studio so there were a lot of things we did not know about a public launch. We took public launch lightly and that backfired on us. We have received a total of 120 forms submissions and players really want to see this game succeed. But the overall feedback was this that we are not ready for a public showcase yet. A lot of things that people demand to be there in the base were missing from our playtest build for example a main menu, quality of life features and there were a few game breaking bugs that slipped by our QA testing process. Our goal with this playtest was to get a game build in the hands of the public to test out the game's systems but we learnt that even playtests should contain base game features before going public with it like Proper Main Menus, Settings and Options. We are slowly adding all the features requested and solving the bugs one by one. Since the launch of our playtests, we have already provided a series of patch fixes that target the most annoying bugs. But thank you again for sharing so much feedback with us so that we can be more confident in the direction we are going with our game :) We got 900+ players who tried our demo and 120 responses on our feedback forms. A lot of people joined discord as well to support the development and give feedback. We have grown to 127 members on discord :)

Here are the results of the responses :-

With this much feedback, we know for sure in which direction players want our game to go in.

Until next time,

- Yash Kaushik
