Repeated intro
Hello everyone, since we haven’t shared any updates in a long time, we felt it was important to clarify the current state of development.

The development of the game is completely paused for an indefinite period of time. However, it is not abandoned completely, at some point in the future, but unfortunately, we have no idea when exactly.
Celestial Command is our first project, one into which we invested an enormous amount of time, effort, and passion. It carries significant personal meaning for us, and we do not want it to remain unfinished forever. Our intention is still to return to it in the future and bring it to a proper 1.0 release with a solid gameplay experience. However, we cannot currently provide any timeline for when that might happen.
Why Is development paused?
The reason is quite simple, the income from Celestial Command was no longer able to cover even our most basic expenses. Even years ago, the revenue barely covered basic needs, and even back then it would have been logical to look for other sources of income, since the game has always been quite unpopular by indie game development standards. Nevertheless, for years we continued developing the game and made multiple attempts to increase its popularity to a level where the income would be sufficient, but this was not achieved.
In the past few years, the situation has become especially critical, as a huge crisis has been ongoing in our home countries for more than four years. The small amount of income we had was no longer enough for anything at all, and searching for other sources of income became not a matter of comfort, but of survival. We are forced to actively take steps to improve our situation, and when we are confident about the near future, we will be able to resume work on completing the game, however, at this point we have no idea when that will be.
Previously, when we published earlier posts about the development pause, we thought that all difficulties would be resolved in the near future. However, this was not the case, and the situation has not significantly improved, so we are forced to announce that development is being stopped for an indefinite period of time.
We apologize for this situation, but game development, especially when it comes to a first project, especially a niche one, is a very complex process, and the reasons are largely due to external factors that are beyond our control.
About our Patreon
We are very grateful to all the people who supported and still support us on Patreon. At some point, it literally saved us. However, since development has been put on pause, we feel uncomfortable accepting your donations, so we will close the Patreon page.
However, we will not forget everyone who supported us financially throughout this time, and in the future, we will do our best to offer bonuses or rewards in this or future projects. Celestial Command was originally intended as a learning project to gain game development experience, with the goal of eventually creating a much more ambitious dream space simulator, something that would not be possible without substantial experience and resources.
And as stated earlier, Celestial Command will also be completed, since it still has a relatively rare concept of orbital mechanics in a simplified format, which we will certainly try to emphasize after development is resumed.
We apologize again for this situation and hope that this clarification has been useful to you. See you later.
