CEFORE PATCH NOTES - ALPHA V.0.24
Date: June 18th 2018 General updates:
Added the level editor! You can create, share, download and rate levels from steam workshop!
Added some objects compared to what’s in the sandbox for the level editor :
Modular platforms
Wooden planks
Floating islands
Added UI elements for the Steam workshop browser
Added UI elements for the community levels and level editor
Added 3D level editor thematic assets to the menu
Bug fixes:
Fixed a bug where the camera would constantly spin around if a controller was plugged in
Unlocalized text now shows the english version instead of : “Localized text not found”
Fixed a bug where finishing the last level would bring you in the sandbox
Can’t scale the quai anymore in the sandbox to break it
Fixed a bug where you couldn’t select object too close to another one in the sandbox
Can’t see the preview of the bin or the ball when trying to clone it anymore
Fixed a bug where objects on a moving platforms sometimes didn’t move with the platform
Sometimes a platform would never go down in the level editor
The camera could have a hard time to follow to the player sometimes, now fixed
The warpzone will now be deselected when clicking on anything else than what can be linked to it
A lot of code optimization obviously
Misc:
Levels now only give you MD the first time you complete it (including workshop levels)
Added sounds on some UI elements
Changed the way you can rotate the preview of an object
Removed the information panel when placing or clicking on a tool (was kind of useless)
No need to hold down [LMB] to place the beacon anymore
Known issues and bugs:
Rotating a object’s preview can make it rotate in the wrong axis
Hot air balloon on metal wall doesn't work at all
Some UI appear on top of other UI elements (confirmation canvas on top of options menu, Baro's fuel on top of loading screens...)
Beacon can be placed on a modular platform's track and then the modular platform can go through the beacon
At the end of the tutorial cutscene, the jetpack is activated
Landing from the jetpack at the moment you open a crate causes Baro to open it with the remote instead of the crowbar
Placing tools on sandbox objects than scaling them always result in weird behaviour
Getting an error when uploading a level to the workshop can upload empty items to the workshop on some occasion
