Catizens changes
We're continuing our series of Catizens game guides. Last time, we covered how to cook food for catizens, as well as how to find and grow basic ingredients. Today, we're going to tell you how to equip your Knights and Rangers with more advanced weapons.
All of the weapons in the game are crafted by cats with the "Blacksmith" trait. From the third level of the game, you can hire a smith at the Market in exchange for a few gold coins. Before then, you'll have to make due with the weapons your cats came with.
You can craft more advanced weapons for your Knights and Rangers to strengthen them against enemies:
Steel and golden swords;
Recurve and golden bows;
Metal shields;
Knight's chest plate;
Leather boots.
A first level blacksmith can only forge steel swords. To unlock other items, upgrade your smith cat's talents.
You will also need special resources to craft each of these items:
Metal Ore – extracted from rocks and metal ore deposits.
Gold – can be found in mines, obtained from rocks, or as a trophy when defeating rats.
Leather and sinew – obtained when hunting wolves and bears.
Feathers – dropped by crows when attacking your crops.
You can also buy these items at the market, but they'll cost you.
When you have enough resources, and the right talents from the Blacksmith are available, you can start the process of making weapons in the Crafting Menu. The blacksmith will venture to the forge and begin their work.
Tell us in the comments what other aspects of Catizens you'd like us to write about. And do not forget to join our community on Discord, where you can quickly get answers to any questions about the game.
