Catizens changes
We're excited to tell you how to create yummy treats in Catizens. All of the kitties love eating tasty food, and some prefer certain snacks over others. The little furballs might even ask you to create something special for them.
In Catizens, you can treat cats to meat, fish, catnip, pumpkin, and cabbage – these are all simple foods.
However, there are also complex ones that you can craft:
Soup – a delicious combination of pumpkin and cabbage.
Bread – with a deliciously crispy crust, of course.
Catffine – a refreshing drink brewed from catnip.
Milk – what cat can't resist a saucer of milk?
Cheese – it's also a treat for rats, which means it can be used to negotiate a truce.
How to get simple tasty treats
You can obtain meat by slaying wild boars and other predators in the area.
Catizens with the Fisher trait can catch fish in a nearby river. Just tell them where the fishing spot is and they'll cast their lines.
Catnip grows around the settlements. You can also grow it in the fields if you fulfill a request from a cat with the Catnip Lover trait.
Cabbage and pumpkins are grown and harvested by farmer cats and do not require any special attention from you. The only thing you'll need to do is fend off annoying flocks of crows who want to eat your delicious crops, but building a scarecrow will keep them away.
How to prepare these complex delicacies
It will take a lot of effort to create milk, bread, cheese, soup, or Cattfin. You have to spend time developing your farmers and honing their talents.
Milk
Build a Stable and buy a few cows, who will start producing milk. You'll be able to build the Stables after unlocking the appropriate farmer cat talent.
Cows produce milk every 25 in-game hours. The farmer cat will milk the cow and take the milk to the warehouse – you do not need to take any additional steps to get it.
Soup and Cheese
To make soup or cheese, you need a cat with the “Basic Cooking” talent. You may build an Outdoor Kitchen as soon as a kitty with that talent appears in your settlement.
The soup is made from cabbage and pumpkin, and cheese is made from milk. You already know how to obtain these resources, so it'll be easy to satisfy the needs of your catizens.
Bread
Catizens love bread, but you'll need flour, wheat, and a windmill to make it. The first step is to assign the "Wheat" and "Windmill" traits to a farmer kitty, then the Windmill will be available in the build menu.
The farmers will plant, water, and then harvest the wheat as sheaves. The other catizens will then collect the sheaves and take them to the storehouse. Once there is wheat in the store, the flour-making process will automatically start.
To bake bread, you need to unlock a farmer's "Bread" talent. After that, the cats can use the stove at the Outdoor Kitchen.
Catffine
And, finally, the last delicious thing that lifts the spirits of all kitties: catffine. To create it, you need to unlock the farmer's "Tavern" talent and then build a tavern.
Crafting Menu
You'll need the Crafting Menu to begin the process of making soup, bread, cheese and catffine. Open the menu and select the desired number of dishes. After that, the cat farmer will go to the Outdoor Kitchen, or the Tavern, to prepare the goodies.
We hope you're excited about creating treats for the kitties of the cat kingdom.
