This will be a short progress report on the AI & ART update, I gave myself a break for a bit but I still managed to do a few things. The following will be implemented in the next preview build:
Changes:
Fixed Cat nameplates not having players name.
Fixed advanced session settings showing proper menu items.
UI Elements have been unified further with custom checkboxes, dropdowns, and slider widgets.
Slight adjustments to main menu.
Unfinished/Current tasks for the next preview build:
Foliage - Trees are currently just a proof of concept. Vegetation like trees and bushes need to have their gameplay details ironed out with proper UVs, textures, and collision.
Stone Rd Map - The second half of the Map includes a second house with a completely different layout. This house will be available as another set of Variations, to even include both houses in one Variation.
Implementing Mouse animations - most animations are complete, just need to hook up to the locomotion graph. This will fix the camera clipping issue when crawling under doors.
Main St Map - This is the Alleyway and Apartment maps combined into one map with additional areas connecting. I have blocked most of it out, I just need to add details and gameplay layers. This will be in the next preview build but very much in an unfinished state so everyone can see what is coming.
