Development Update
Greetings travelers and visitors of Castle Dornstein. My name is Daniel and I’m here to provide you with some news of the castle, the local town, and rumors currently surfacing in the lands.
Castle Dornstein is in development. Her foundation is being re-bricked, her carpets being swept, and her relics and tomes are being dusted in order to prepare for Master Hemlock’s arrival. While construction efforts are underway, we don’t have a timeline for when it will be ready for you to join us. We are predicting the latter half of 2026, but we are still estimating the remaining work.
We greatly appreciate you following along with the development of Castle Dornstein, and we are excited for you to get to see the castle in all of it's glory. Starting next month in August, we will be publicly posting more on our social media channels, and we'd love if you followed us there to see more week-to-week updates.

When is the game coming out?
Stay tuned for an official release date. We are expecting the latter half of 2026.
What are the platforms?
We are currently planning on releasing on PC via steam and also potentially through GOG.
Is there a demo available?
Not currently. There was a previous demo, but we have since removed it from Steam due to the content differing from what will be in the final game. There will however be a new demo that will be available closer to the release of the game.
What is the expected length of the game?
We are predicting between 5-12 hours depending on the player’s play style.
Will the game be playable on steamdeck?
We are planning on the game being playable on steamdeck, but won’t know until closer to release due to the additional effort / resources required.
Will the game have controller support?

Yes, the game will be fully voice acted.
